| LIFE CHANGING THERAPY
People come to therapy because they are suffering and because they are facing huge obstacles in their life. Effective therapy that really changes peoples' lives, digs below the surface of the problem, into the pain. It is not just talking about problems, it is growing past the problem.
Gestalt psychotherapy works directly with feelings. Most people come to therapy because of difficulty with feelings---painful feelings, overwhelming feelings, confusing feelings, feeings that won't stop, or inability to feel. People often name these feelings as: depression, anxiety, anger, or despair. The purpose of therapy is to learn about our feelings and become expert in managing them. Individuals notice that they solve problems better and that their lives and relationships become clearer, richer, livlier, and more satisyfing.
