ABOUT NANCY SCHLEICH
Nancy has been in practice since 1976. She has a B.A. in psychology from Hanover College and an MSW from Indiana University. Post graduate training includes certificate from the Cincinnati Psychoanalytic Institute in advanced psychodynamic psychotherapy and certificate from Gestalt Institute of central Ohio. She is licensed by the state of Ohio to diagnose and treat mental disorders.
She works with individuals in all stages of relationship: single, dating, marriage, divorce, post divorce. She works with narcissism, borderline, and passive aggressive individuals. She works with addictions to alcohol, drugs, porn, and internet addiction. She is particularly interested in people with disorders of attention and processing. She screens all patients for ADD.
Nancy is known for her directness and her ability to convey complex ideas clearly. She is determined to help patients heal and thrive. She brings warmth and humor to the therapeutic relationships. She is supported by her marriage of 40+years to Paul, and their two adult daughters.
GESTALT PSYCHOTHERAPY
Gestalt is a powerful psychotherapy that is based on awareness. When you can notice, tolerate, and experience your sensations and emotions you are solid and whole. Your choices are clearer, your ability to support yourself is stronger, and you are more intentional and less reactive in relationships.
MARRIAGE COUNSELING
Couples experience pain and dissatisfaction when they do not understand how marriage works and how they personally contribute to the problem. Getting back to the love involves hearing and understanding your partner, taking responsibility for what you want and don't want in the relationship. and managing your own emotions well. This allows couples to actually address and settle conflicts and to make clear decisions about what they want, including do they want the marriage to continue.
DIVORCE COUNSELING
When couples decide to end the marriage, they can benefit from learning about how divorce works. Divorcing couples need to establish clear boundaries and expectations on the two-house family and to develop and keep agreements about kids and money. They need to manage and resolve the incredible pain of ending a marriage.
ADD
Adult ADD impairs your ability to learn, to remember, and to manage your emotions. It impairs your ability to do conflict well and to function well in relationships. Gestalt psychotherapy works on improving focus, developing your ability to direct your attention, and to explore how growing up with this disorder shaped your character and sense of self.
GROUP THERAPY
Adult Group Therapy
psychotherapy group focusing on developing awareness of self and others, developing ability to interact intentionally, and exploring and healing early wounds that impact our ability to be present in our current relationships.
Wednesday 6 to 7:30 pm. Fee $60.
Couples Group
Couples in all stges of relationship work on understanding what it takes to have a healthy relationship and work on developing skills to achieve that.
Meeting once a month first Saturday 10 am to 12. Fee is $100.
Consultation Group for Therapists
Gestalt and psychodynamic exploration of therapists' cases and use of self. Open to therapists in all stages of career development wishing to deepen their work, manage their caseload, and increase their satisfaction in being a therapist;
Meeting once a month second Tuesday 10 am to 12. Fee $60.

FEES
Fees are payable at time of service. individual and couples sessions is $150. Fee for group therapy is $60.
Nancy is not on any insurance panels. She will provide statements for you to submit to your insurance company.
